CELEBRITY SATURDAY

Hi guys!!!

Today marks the first episode of Celebrity Saturday in which we'll be featuring mainly Nigerian Celebrities!!

The first celebrity on this page will be...............

Drum roll please.................

Rita is a member of the Royal Waturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. She is the youngest of 4 siblings. Her late parents were medical practitioners; her father was a medical doctor and her mother a nursing officer.

Rita as a Celebrity

Rita started performing when she was a child, appearing in school plays and children's television shows in Imo state. In 1998 she starred in her first movie A time to kill. She won the City People Awards in 2004 as the Most Outstanding Actress.  She has starred in over 100 Nollywood productions

Rita as a Fashion Icon

In African Prints..

I love this look....she wore this dress elegantly and with those nice legs she's got...she sure did flaunt them well...

This is a beautiful look and if I must add, no matter what country you're from, the headgear always looks gorgeous when worn. Feel free to try it out. Rita definitely looks impeccable with the headgear...and that slit....is giving me life...haha!! I love the fact that she's not wearing any neck accessory which might have been too much...

Don't even get me started on those shoes...

In evening dresses....

These looks are chic, decent, elegant and stylish...need I say more?

In jumpsuit

This is a very classy look, as it can be formal or casual.

 In casual and formal outfits...

 In skorts and shorts

If you've got the legs, why not flaunt them...

In skirts...

I love it when a sister has some curves and for those of us waiting on the Lord for curves, may He answer our many prayers....Amen

Rita Dominic definitely has that stylish, chic look going for her which is rare bearing in mind that she accessorize lightly. She is a beautiful and elegant looking woman who really knows her 1 + 1 equals 2.

At this point, I am certain that we can all agree that Rita Dominic indeed deserves the title "the lady with style" as she has definitely made these watch  worth our while.....

As Gwyneth Paltrow once said, "Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red outfit." Actually she said 'kick as red-lipstick', but since I'm more of an outfit person I dared to go RED...literally...

Guaranteed to transform your look from boring to bold in one easy swipe, it's no wonder the the lady in red never goes out of style. But hunting for the perfect red outfit combination can be an arduous task, so I've done the hard work for you....

BOLD RED
Red combined with white is always bright, bold and beautiful. With a little splash of stripes to give it  flavor.

Because it's RED, people are going to stare anyways, so why not make it worth their while *wink*

I hope I made it worth your while...

A F R I C A N

These are the little things you might not know about me....

I am an African, a proud Nigerian at that...
I am a designer fashion brand for men and women specializing in quality formal wear, dresses and evening wears

Here is one of the styles I designed....

My heritage and culture is the very inspiration behind my work. Although I was born in Lagos, I have lived in different states in Nigeria and I have been influenced by the diverse cultures and tribes of this great country of which we are richly blessed in...

  Be your own Stylist
The Nigerian prints are always in vogue. I never deny myself one or two ankara print styles. These prints give you opportunities to be your own designer, making stylish and different outfits to suit your very fashion taste. They can be rocked in any of the four seasons!! Yes they can...

In my designs and outfits, you have an opportunity to make a statement. To say, "I'm beautiful, I'm stylish,....I'm African".

Unleash that stylish lady in you with African prints, remember....'people are going to look anyways, why not make it worth their while'.

I hope I made it worth your while....

Animal prints have long been a popular style for so many reasons. Maybe it's because they give an expensive and chic look, hence a symbol of wealth and status. This makes me remember that Eddie Murphy movie, 'Coming to America'. The array of animal prints spoke of wealth and status.

Back to the fashion world with the intent of preserving these qualities, I chose to splash white  with white leopard print

I honestly believe black is boring, I know, I'm weird. So rather than black, I chose white blazers with metallic heels.

Metallic is a good alternative for black, in my own opinion especially in summer. This is because you want that bright summery look yet formal as this was the intention behind the outfit.

Whatever the intention behind the outfit, make it chic and stylish because 'people are going to look anyways, why not make it worth their while'.

I hope I made it worth your while....

With denim, you can never go wrong!!

"I wish I invented blue jeans" said Yves Saint Laurent, I honestly wish I did too, if you ask me.  I certainly agree with stylishmagazine when it said the humble jean has gone from workman's overalls to a fashion icon.

Here is my take on a denim style...and yes it is iconic...

Denim can be worn for formal or casual occasions. All you need is that one color to make that outfit pop! Remember, you can never go wrong with a denim.

Heels have never been so comfortable as it is with these zara shoes. They are divine, you could literally walk a mile in these shoes. As you must have guessed, the whole outfit was 'shoe inspired'.

My motto for every outfit is and always will be 'people are going to look anyways, why not make it worth their while'. I hope I made it worth your while......
